Vol. 1 No. 1 (2023): Risk assessment in the health and environmental context: a look from the Ecuadorian experience

 In volume 1, a risk assessment is conducted in the health and environmental context: a perspective from the Ecuadorian experience through the use of simulation models and the implementation of practices for water decontamination, an assessment that is vital given the prevalence of health issues such as kidney diseases and allergies like sinusitis. In addition to assessment measures, educational programs are required to raise awareness among the population about addressing these problems.
