STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF PEDAGOGICAL STRATEGIES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIOEMOTIONAL SKILLS

The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of different pedagogical strategies on the development of socio-emotional skills in primary school students. A quasi-experimental design was carried out, with a control and experimental group. The sample consisted of 100 students, equally divided into the two groups. The experimental group received an intervention based on active pedagogical strategies for 6 months. The socio-emotional skills of the participants were evaluated before and after the intervention, using validated scales. The results indicated that the experimental group obtained significantly higher scores in socio-emotional skills after the intervention, compared to the control group. It is concluded that active pedagogical strategies have a positive impact on the development of socio-emotional skills in students. It is recommended to implement these strategies in the classroom.
